Dan Wood – President

Born in Lancaster, PA, Dan started working in his family’s restaurant after school and on weekends at nine years of age. This early beginning in the service industry impressed upon Dan the importance of excellent customer service and integrity in business. Dan went on to graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson with a degree Hotel/Restaurant Management. The restaurant career took Dan to San Diego, CA, Aspen, CO and back to Lancaster, PA. After twenty years in the business, Dan sought a change and began working for world renowned Clair Brothers Audio in Lititz, Pa in 1989. Clair Brothers was instrumental in teaching Dan all the basics of audio engineering. In 1995 Dan moved to Myrtle Beach to set up a division of Winston-Salem’s Long Communications; then transferred to the Winston-Salem office of Long Communications in 2000. In 2004, Dan decided to step out on his own with the assistance of Church Interiors and created Church Interiors Audio/Video (CIAv). This successful venture continues to thrive.

In 2006, Dan received the Excellence in Business Award for Philanthropic Contributions from the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) for outstanding business practices when CIAv participated in Extreme Home Makeover to aid Katrina victims. Dan continues to support community outreach locally and is a strong advocate of the arts.
